Base on my experience and research, the creators of WC are already high level fighters. They already have the basic Chinese Kung Fu skills of Ti (kick), Da(strike),Shuai(takedown),Na(submission). WC is taking the complete combat and make it most efficient.But most people today turn WC into a style of fighting, going for the looks, not the concepts of WC economy of motions.Efficiency is not a style or an act.
