All Wing Chun lineage are good. It is the practitioner personal training that determine how much skills the person has. Differences bring color depth and richness within Wing Chun and Kung Fu Family….
Working together we can make it, promoting Wing Chun as one big family to the world.

“In Martial Arts Forest, It’s One Family”
Today we had a awesome training with Sifu Lin. In instructor training we learned how to use two points of power in a one directional attack. Sifu Lin taught us that the arm is used as a dragon and as the hand performs a certain technique, the head and the tail of the dragon must move as one. If the head and the tail moves in opposite directions then the power will be neutralized.
Then in orientation class we ran our new curriculum which is sparring. As we tried to defend against a straight or a hook with an im/yang punch or a tio/kim jiu we are reminded constantly not to chase the hand. The punch that is coming only carried the illusion of speed but we get attached to the illusion and block, then we will get trapped in the next attack. We are also showed the importance of sticky hands of how when the range is bridged, we need to focus on occupying the opponents space and mind while detached both of our own hands in order to demolish the opponents structure.
Then in leadership we practiced forms and bridging. In bridging we are once again reminded to occupy the space and whatever attack the opponent does, our attacks need to cross the central space in front of the body. This way of the opponent leans forward, we will hit them as well as distract them while neutralizing the straight or hook. Our system is truly the definition of the maximum efficiency as I discovered that even in techniques that seem only for defensive purposes such as the Tio or the Phok, we still attack and neutralize the opponent at the same time. I hope to see more of my kung fu brothers training in the school very, very soon. Because the only way to achieve this skill is not through online videos or talking, but dedication to hard training. via HKB Kung Fu Tustin Martial Arts
